The Warroad Indoor Pool is a public resource that is available to the community; thanks to the generous donation by William S. (Bill) and Margaret Marvin in 1992, in memory of the Warroad Class of 1935. Our facility is an over 5000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art aquatics center with 8 swimming lanes with spectator stands, a diving pool, recreation pool, sauna and hot tub.

Our Aquatics Staff is an experienced and professional team of certified pool operators, lifeguards and water safety instructors. Our goal is to provide safe and fun recreational programs and introduce the community to the joy of swimming in our facility. Please visit our Swim Lessons and Swim Programs pages to view details on how you can enjoy this wonderful facility.

LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Greetings from the Warroad Aquatics Group!

My name is Rebecca Willems and I oversee the Warroad Swimming Pool. I have been the Aquatics Director for the past ten years. My background in aquatics is quite extensive. I was a lifeguard and a competitive swimmer prior to graduating from the University of North Dakota, with an undergraduate degree in physical education and a graduate degree in sport psychology. I am currently certified as a certified pool operator, a lifeguard, a water safety instructor, a U.S.A. Swimming Coach, a High School Swimming & Diving Coach, and I am also a lifeguard instructor.

What we try to accomplish here is giving everyone an enjoyable and worthwhile experience at our facility. We have a number of programs that we offer to different age groups. Our goal is to introduce our pool to as many people in the community as we can.

The pool is an important feature of the middle school and high school physical education programs. Swim Teams are involved in both school programs and as extracurricular activities.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our programs listed below.
