Good Morning!
Last night was a busy night for activities! Our volleyball team traveled to Grygla for a North Border matchup. The Warriors would come up short and lose to the Chargers. They will take a break from games from the long weekend and travel to Lake of the Woods next Tuesday.
Our Swimming Coop (The North) hosted their last regular season swim meet last night at the Warroad Pool vs International Falls. The North took the top honors 102-76! Some winners were:
Hannah Daniels in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle
Elyza Lily in the 50 Yard Freestyle
200 Yard Freestyle Relay of Kenzie Cole, Hannah Daniels, Elyza Lily, and Kayla Dahl
Their Section meet will be October 24th in Warroad.
And lastly, our Boys Cross Country team traveled to Bagley for the Section meet. Runners for the meet were: Jack Goulet, Emmett Marvin, Teferi Reeves, Lukas Hruby, Evan Grover, Garret Hennum, and William Johnson.
Jack Goulet finished 12th out of 135 runners and qualified for the State Meet!! However, due to COVID there will be no State Meet this year. The Warriors finished 9 overall at the Section meet and ended their season.
The Girls Cross Country will race today in Bagley at 1:15pm.
The Football team hosts Walker-Hackensack-Akeley tonight at 6pm. Deadline to sign up and pay in the high school office is 3pm.
Enjoy the long weekend and Go Warriors!
