Warroad High School
Warroad High School is a 1986 facility located in Warroad, Minnesota, on the southwest shores of beautiful Lake of the Woods. Home of Marvin Windows and Doors and one of the world's greatest recreation lakes. The area offers the outdoor enthusiast with an abundance of opportunities in skiing, hiking, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, biking, and more.
WHS is a comprehensive high school offering a variety of courses and programs designed to prepare our students to succeed in an ever-changing world. Students seeking to get a jump on their college education have over 30 credits available to them in our College-In-The-High-School program. Our Engineering and Design students have competed with students from across the United States in the NASA FIRST Robotics competition and the High Mileage Car competition at Brainerd International Raceway. Our courses are designed to meet the needs of a diverse population.
Over 65% of WHS students are active in a variety of extra-curricular programs. These include art, band, baseball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls hockey, boys and girls track,cross-country, choir, football, girls swimming, knowledge bowl, one-act play, softball, speech, and volleyball.
